This policy explains the information Chefs Talk handles when you use the app and how it supports the features you request.
1. Information we handle
This can include your account details, subscription status, messages with Briggy, saved recipes, ingredient photographs, recipe-builder entries, and information you choose to provide. We may also receive basic device, browser, usage, and error information needed to operate and protect the service.
2. How information is used
Information is used to create and secure your account, provide AI answers and ingredient identification, save and scale recipes, verify subscription access, troubleshoot problems, prevent misuse, and improve the reliability and usefulness of Chefs Talk.
3. Payments
Whop processes subscription payments and provides Chefs Talk with payment and membership information needed to activate and manage access. Chefs Talk does not receive or store your complete card details. Whop handles payment information under its own privacy terms.
4. Service providers
We use service providers for hosting, account authentication, storage, artificial-intelligence processing, food-data lookup, payment processing, and error monitoring. They may process information only as needed to provide their services and are subject to their own contractual and legal obligations.
5. Photos and AI content
Ingredient photos and relevant chat content may be sent to an AI service to generate the response you request. Avoid uploading faces, private documents, confidential workplace information, or other personal information that is not needed for your cooking question.
6. Retention and security
We retain information only for as long as reasonably needed to provide the service, maintain required records, resolve disputes, and protect the platform. We use reasonable safeguards, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.
7. Your choices and rights
You can update certain account content within the app and may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information where applicable. You may also cancel your subscription to stop future renewals. Requests can be made through the contact method available within Chefs Talk.
8. International processing
The providers supporting Chefs Talk may process information in countries other than your own. Where required, appropriate contractual or legal safeguards should be used for those transfers.
9. Age and policy changes
Chefs Talk is intended for people aged 18 or older. We may update this policy as the service or its privacy practices change, and will show the revised date on this page.
