These terms apply when you access Chefs Talk, use Briggy, create an account, or buy a subscription. By using the service, you agree to them.
1. Using Chefs Talk
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding agreement to create an account or subscribe. You are responsible for keeping your account details accurate and secure, and for activity carried out through your account.
2. Subscriptions and billing
Chefs Talk offers recurring monthly and annual subscriptions. Prices, billing frequency, and any applicable taxes are shown before payment. Payments and subscription management are provided through Whop. Unless cancelled, your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period.
3. Cancellation and refunds
You may cancel through the billing management option available in your account. Cancellation stops future renewals and access continues until the end of the paid billing period. Completed payments are non-refundable except where a refund is required by applicable law.
4. Chef guidance and food safety
Briggy uses artificial intelligence and reference data to provide cooking guidance. Outputs may be incomplete or inaccurate and are not a substitute for professional judgement. You remain responsible for checking allergens, temperatures, storage, hygiene, suitability, and local food-safety requirements before serving or consuming food.
5. Acceptable use
Do not misuse the service, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with its operation, upload unlawful or harmful material, infringe another person’s rights, or use generated content in a way that could cause harm. We may limit or suspend access where reasonably necessary to protect the service or its users.
6. Your content
You retain ownership of recipes, photographs, messages, and other content you submit. You give Chefs Talk permission to process that content only as needed to provide, secure, maintain, and improve the service. You must have the right to upload anything you submit.
7. Chefs Talk materials
The Chefs Talk name, Briggy character, interface, software, and original service materials are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Your subscription grants a personal, limited, non-transferable right to use the service while your access remains active.
8. Availability and liability
We work to keep Chefs Talk reliable but cannot promise uninterrupted or error-free access. To the extent permitted by law, Chefs Talk is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the service. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liabilities that cannot legally be excluded.
9. Changes and contact
We may update these terms when the service or legal requirements change. The revised date will appear on this page. Questions about these terms can be sent through the contact method made available within Chefs Talk.
